"Overnight Stay" Excellent facilities, staff, and service and the food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent. The dinner was exceptional. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We would have stayed longer had we had the time!

“Could not be faulted” We stayed for two nights in October half term in the family room. It was excellent value for money, the staff were so friendly and great with the children. We will certainly be going back again. Beautiful surroundings and great places to visit very close by. The food was lovely, evening meals and breakfast and our son has 'never had a ham sandwich so good in his life' - James age 5 and the Bailey family

This was not a problem as we were not in a hurry and, indeed, enjoyed a leisurely drink first. The service was excellent all evening even though there appeared to be very few staff on duty. There were some rather loud guests at other tables but that is no fault of the pub itself. The meal itself was first rate and, should we be in the area again I would have no hesitation in eating there. Indeed, I would recommend the Fairfax Arms to anyone.
